Dear Walkers

Congratulations to all those who came and took part in the Twilight Walk Cumbrae in May. For the second year we returned to the beautiful island of Cumbrae off the West Coast.

We were lucky with another lovely day. The sun shone for much of it, allowing everyone to enjoy the views as they walked. Some people even saw seals which was an added bonus.

Around 300 people come and take part in the event, travelling from as far a field as places such as Dunblane and the Lothians.

You have done terrifically well with your fund raising. We do not have a total for you yet as the monies are still coming in. But we will keep you updated.

Our huge thanks go out to all of the marshals and helpers on the day, who provided everything from medical support for anyone with blisters, to cups of tea and homebaking.
